Terms of Service

The rules for using PI Press: your account, what you pay for, what you may do with it, and what we are responsible for.

Last updated: April 14, 2026

1. The agreement

These terms are an agreement between you and Yakihonne LLC, 140 E Broadway, Jackson Hole, Wyoming 83001, United States ("we", "us"), which operates PI Press. If you use the PI Press mobile app, the Mobile App Terms apply to the app as well. By creating an account or using PI Press you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use PI Press.

You must be at least 13 years old to use PI Press.

2. Your account

You can sign in with an email address, with Google, with Apple, or with a Nostr key. You are responsible for what happens under your account and for keeping your way of signing in to yourself.

If you sign in with Nostr, your secret key stays with you. We never receive it. We cannot recover a lost Nostr key, and we cannot restore access to an account that can only be opened with one.

3. What PI Press is

PI Press collects research claims from public sources, and gives you an AI research assistant (PI) that can search them, read files you give it, and help you write.

The assistant's answers are produced by AI models and can be wrong, incomplete or out of date. We may change, add or remove features, and we do not promise that PI Press will be available without interruption.

4. Plans, allowances and payment

Each plan gives a weekly allowance of credits; using the assistant draws on it. Your current plan, your usage and the prices are shown on the Pricing page and in Settings. You can add credit to your balance to keep working after the weekly allowance is used.

On the website, payment is taken by Stripe. In the mobile app, purchases are made through Apple or Google and are also subject to their terms. A paid plan renews automatically at the end of each period until you cancel it. If you cancel, the plan runs to the end of the period you have paid for. Payments and unused credit are not refunded, unless a charge was caused by a fault in PI Press, or where the law requires it. We may change prices and allowances. We will tell you by email at least 30 days before a new price applies to your plan, and it applies from your next period. Prices do not include taxes; any tax that applies is added at checkout.

5. Trials

We sometimes give an account extended usage for a limited time, by invitation or through a referral link. A trial starts when it is first used on your account and ends on the date shown in Settings. When it ends, your account returns to the plan it had. A trial is given at our discretion. We may shorten, change or end one, and it has no cash value.

6. Referral links

We may give you a referral link to share. When someone creates a new account after opening it, the account is counted for your link, and you can see a limited view of who signed up, as described in the Privacy Policy. A link may have an end date or a maximum number of sign-ups. A link that has ended, is full or has been withdrawn still lets people sign up, but the account is not counted for you. Your own account is never counted for your own link.

Holding a referral link does not entitle you to payment, credit or any other reward. We may withdraw a link at any time. Do not share a link by sending unsolicited bulk messages, by pretending to be us, or by misleading people about what PI Press is. When you share a link you are telling people about PI Press yourself; you must tell them that you are sharing a referral link where the law requires it.

7. Your content

What you write, upload and create in PI Press stays yours. You give us permission to store it, process it and send it to the AI providers named in the Privacy Policy, only so far as needed to provide the service to you. You must have the right to upload what you upload.

Anything you publish to Nostr through PI Press — your profile, comments, reactions, zaps — goes to a public network run by others. We cannot remove it from there.

8. What you may not do

  • Break the law, or infringe someone else's rights.
  • Try to get around usage limits, or resell access.
  • Attack, overload, probe or scrape PI Press, or use it to build a competing data set.
  • Upload malware, or content that is unlawful where you or we are.
  • Use the assistant to produce content that is unlawful or that the AI providers' own rules forbid.

9. Closing an account

You can stop using PI Press at any time, and close your account yourself in Settings. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, or where the law requires us to. When an account is closed, remaining paid time and credit are not refunded, except where the law requires it, and its content is deleted. What was published to Nostr stays on that public network.

10. What belongs to us

The PI Press name, design and software belong to us or to those who license them to us. These terms give you the right to use PI Press, not to copy it.

11. Warranty

PI Press is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.

13. Changes to these terms

We may change these terms. When we do, we change the date at the top. For a significant change we will tell you by email before it takes effect; if you keep using PI Press after that, the new terms apply.
