Your feed
Live claims (/feed) is where Claims are read. Anyone can open it. New Claims appear as the system produces them, continuously.
Filtering
The left side of the feed has:
- Search, matching Claim titles and summaries.
- Domain, grouped by track (Blockchain, and AI & Tech, labelled IS&T in the sidebar), with the number of Claims in each. Inside a domain you can narrow further to a topic.
- Tier: All, A, B, C or D.
The bar above the list has the sort, a date range and a Revised toggle that cycles between all Claims, only Claims that have been revised, and only Claims that have not. Ten Claims fit on a page. Every filter is part of the page address, so you can bookmark or share any filtered view.
Click a Claim to open it in the reading panel on the right (or in a sheet from the bottom on a narrow screen). Each card also has fold-out What happened, Analysis, Counter-view and Uncertainty sections for a quick look.
Four ways to sort
| Sort | What you get |
|---|---|
| By Date | Newest first. The default for visitors. |
| By Score | Highest score first. |
| For You | Signed in: Claims ranked for you personally. The feed switches to this on its own once you follow at least one area. |
| Following | Signed in: only Claims in the topics and domains you follow. |
How "For You" works
For You re-ranks the same Claims for one person: you. It uses the areas you follow, the topics you starred, what you did with Claims (opened, copied, shared, marked useful, zapped, hidden), the research questions on your profile, and the papers in your library. Each Claim in the For You view tells you why it is there, in words: "In your domain: Lightning", "Challenges your own work", and so on. There is never a bare number.
The strongest signal is when a new Claim collides with your own work: it contradicts or supports a paper in your library. That is what PIPress means by helping you discover what you did not yet know to look for.
For You needs at least one followed area. Following topics alone is not enough. If you have not picked any areas, the feed quietly shows the global view instead.
Following topics
Inside the reading panel, the star next to a topic follows it. Followed topics feed the Following sort and your personal ranking. Manage them under Settings → Research preferences, or ask PI with /prefs.
Your briefing, by email
If you signed up with an email address and follow at least one area, three kinds of email can reach you:
- A daily briefing, once a day, with up to seven Claims picked for you that you have not been sent before, each with the reason it matched.
- A high-priority alert when a top-tier Claim that personally matches you is published, a few times a day at most.
- A weekly pulse on Mondays with ideas from outside your field and directions worth pursuing.
One switch controls all three: Settings → Notifications → Daily briefing email. Every email also has an unsubscribe link. Accounts with no email address receive nothing.
You can get the same briefing any time by asking PI: type /briefing.
